Stud services are available to qualifying females for the price of one puppy or pick of the litter.

Welcome to Suwannee Sunset Shibas.
    We are an informational source to Shiba Inu enthusiasts as well as newcomers to the breed. We also have one active breeding pair, which we breed once a year.
    On our website, you will find information about the breed in general as well as American Kennel Club (AKC) standards for judging the breed, an introduction to our breeding program, a picture gallery of our Shibas, information on when to expect our next litter, how to care for your Shiba as well as what supplies you'll need, and a page of useful links to help you learn about Shibas and where best to find one to be your pet.

Philosophy
    We believe that the parent dogs deserve as much love and respect as their puppies will receive in their new homes. Our dogs are a part of our family and experience every aspect of our family life. Our girl is spoiled during her pregnancy and pampered while she raises her puppies.
    The pups are born in our puppy room where they are kept in a quiet, safe and warm environment. Once old enough, they are well-socialized with both people and other animals before going to their new homes. People wishing to take home a pup must be willing to adhere to a certain standard of care.
